Market condition
KLCI closed at 1,536.07, a drop of 1.10% from last month.
S&P500 increased by 3.08% to 5,254.35.
My view: Foreign funds flowed out of Malaysia
KLCI could not maintain its uptrend and ended March lower. But it was still above 1,500. On the other hand, S&P500 continued to break new high.
Foreign funds reversed its inflow and became net seller. In March, the net inflow of foreign funds became net outflow year-to-date. With the current situation, the near term outlook of local stock market may not be so optimistic.
Transactions done
1. MYEG: BOUGHT some at RM 0.775.
2. GBTC: SOLD some at $63.15.
Dividend received
1. MAYBANK
RM 0.31/share = DY 4.24%
This is my first dividend from MAYBANK in 2024. I think my annual dividend yield will exceed 6% in 2024.
2. LIIHEN
RM 0.02/share = DY 3.10%
This is also my first dividend of the year from LIIHEN. I got 10+% dividend yield in 2023. I am not too sure if it will be this good again in 2024.
3. UCHITEC
RM 0.05/share = DY 2.31%
This is the first dividend from UCHITEC in this year. I think my annual dividend yield might drop in 2024.
