MYTHEO performance review
Now, I shall show you my returns on this platform. The returns are separated into MYR-denominated and USD denominated. For the MYR-denominated return, there is a component of currency impact from the currency exchange rate. As on 16 June 2020, my returns are as follows.
MYR-denominated return = -4.47%
USD-denominated return = -5.96%
Conclusion
I will say that the returns are not impressive. Perhaps I started investing on this platform when the market was rosy. Nonetheless, its performance is still better than my own portfolio on ToledoTrade (-7.61% in USD). For the time being, I am going to continue my monthly contribution.
I am also comparing the returns of MYTHEO with the StashAway account that was opened one month ago. StashAway has a return of 4.61% in MYR and 6.18% in USD. However, as the investing period on StashAway is too short, I will not say that this is a fair comparison. I will make a comparison for these two platforms again in the future.
