For ASM, four cents (2021 and 2022) is the lowest amount that this fund would pay to its investors.

As for ASB 2, its lowest dividend was 4.25 cents in 2021.

The dividend for ASM fund family is always lower than the ASB fund family.

Outlook

The benchmark that ASM and ASB 2 use to compare its performance with is the Maybank 12-Month Fixed Deposit, which has a return of 2.56% (previous year: 2.84%). However, I am using KLCI as the benchmark. In 2024, KLCI had a return of 12.90% (2023: -2.73%). Thus, both funds underperformed KLCI. Nonetheless, these funds are now able to provide dividend of at least 5%. Going forward, I think they should be able to maintain this dividend rate, barring a global downturn.
